School Buses: Protecting California's Kids
Currently the Statewide Truck & Bus rule regulates school buses to
comply with reducing diesel emissions. School buses manufactured prior
to April 1, 1977 will be required to be removed from service by
January 1, 2012. All remaining buses may meet one of the three
proposed compliance options.
School buses having 2000 and newer model year engines have to install
PM retrofit devices by January 1, 2011.

We applaud and support California school districts that voluntarily have
retrofitted school buses to protect our kids. Ironman has retrofitted
hundreds of California diesel school buses to date and will continue to
support this effort.
